Ludum Dare Game Dev Competition

Our next event will be August 22nd – 24th! We’re going to be participating in the Ludum Dare Game Development Competition. Ludum Dare is an international ‘for fun’ game development competition that is run three times each year; April’s competition had almost 2500 games submitted. The competition runs from 8pm Friday August 22nd to 8pm August 25th. Must be at least 18 years old to attend.

We’ll be hosting an event throughout the weekend starting at 6pm Friday night and ending Sunday evening (and probably breaking for sleep :). We’ll also be keeping a google hangout running for anyone joining from home. No experience is required, and teams are encouraged; we’ll have some experienced developers participating to help give pointers. It’s a great way to learn about programming, rapid design, development, and have a great time while doing it!

Hope to see you there!

LAN_Party == SUCCESS!

The LAN Party was an awesome success, thanks to everyone who came out! We had a great time, met new friends and played some awesome video and board games. Definitely going to be a repeat event, hope to see everyone and more at the next one! 😀
